Arithmetic.

The more I learn about Christianity, the more I revisit the thought that God keeps his mathematics simple.

We are supposed to have childlike faith, so shouldn't we view God and his promises simply?

God has the following characteristics (among many, many, many amazing traits!):
He is able.
He never fails.

He also says, "apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)

So the conclusion I am reaching is that it all adds up to this:

God is able to do things SO GREAT I cannot even imagine them or come to think of them with my teeny tiny human brain. (Ephesians 3:20)

God is able, he can never and will never fail, and I abide in him.

Therefore, I am able and I can never fail because of who he is.
